Background
Saudi hospitality developer Amsa Hospitality has signed agreements with Radisson Hotel Group and Accor to develop close to 400 hospitality units across Riyadh and Qassim, with both projects due to open before the end of 2026.
The deals were announced at the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh. The Radisson agreement covers a SR400 million ($106.53 million) project in Riyadh that will deliver 240 units comprising 64 villas and 176 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms.
The project, named Amsa Vue Riyadh, is expected to generate returns exceeding SR1 billion on the initial investment.
The second deal brings the Palm Qassim hotel into the Accor Handwritten Collection. The 142-room property will sit just 20 minutes from Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Buraidah and is also scheduled to open by year-end.
Amsa Hospitality Chief Executive Officer Muin Serhan said the exclusive nature of the Radisson project requires both financial and human investment. He said the company plans a workforce of 170 Saudi talents to manage the Riyadh
development across its various facilities.
Chief Operating Officer Aamir Riaz said the Palm Qassim project aims to create a hospitality experience that reflects the character of the region while offering something fresh for both local and international visitors.
The announcements came as Saudi real estate firm Blacksand and Marriott International signed a separate SR5 billion agreement to develop 10 hotels across the Kingdom, adding to a broader wave of hospitality investment tied to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 target of attracting more than 150 million annual visitors.
