Red Sea Global has opened Grand Hyatt The Red Sea on Shura Island, adding 430 rooms, suites and villas to Saudi Arabia’s luxury hospitality portfolio.

The resort offers more than 2,400 square meters of event space. It includes a 1,390-square-meter grand ballroom, a 683-square-meter junior ballroom, conference rooms and outdoor venues for corporate events, exhibitions and weddings.

John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, said the resort brings a globally recognized premium brand to the destination. He said it boosts the company’s ability to host international conferences, corporate gatherings and major events. Pagano added that Red Sea Global is building infrastructure for both leisure and business travelers, supporting Saudi Arabia’s position as an emerging global tourism and events destination.

Guests can use indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center and the Ethereal Spa, which has 10 treatment rooms. The resort also runs dedicated facilities for children and teenagers.

The property sits near Shura Marina, which gives guests access to a yachting facility with 159 berths for vessels up to 125 meters. Retail, dining and leisure attractions lie nearby.

The opening adds hospitality and events capacity to The Red Sea destination. Red Sea Global says the destination now has 12 luxury resorts welcoming guests.

The project supports Saudi Arabia’s push to diversify its economy through tourism, hospitality and international business events under Vision 2030.
