Background

Sharjah is set to host the 56th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, the region’s biggest exhibition for gold and jewellery. The event will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah from 24 to 28 September 2025, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More than 500 exhibitors from 21 nations are set to display their work, joined by about 1,800 jewellery designers, manufacturers, and experts. The Australian, Myanmar, and Pakistani exhibitors will make their debut, enlarging the international presence of the event.

The exhibition has a history of success. The last edition achieved sales worth Dh105 million and attracted 87,000 visitors from 106 countries. It also brought in 1,400 professionals from 63 nations, further confirming its status as an international business hub for the jewellery sector.

The upcoming show will cover an area of 30,000 square metres, featuring the latest designs in gold, diamonds, pearls, luxury watches, and gemstones. It will have several countries with national pavilions such as India, Singapore and Thailand and Italy will represent over 50 brands.

According to Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, the show has become a major part of the emirate’s trade calendar. He described it as a vital meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors, noting that the 2025 edition aims to combine exclusivity, creativity, and innovation to enhance Sharjah’s role in the global jewellery market.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops and classes created to exchange skills on jewellery design, jewellery production, and industry best practices. The activities are designed to enable professionals to develop insights and become more competitive.
