Background

GITEX Global will return in 2026 under a new name and concept, GITEX TechCation. The event will offer a larger and more immersive technology showcase in Dubai. The event will take place from December 7 to 11, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, moving from its long-time venue at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organizers said the 2026 edition will blend technology with tourism and culture to create a “techcation” experience. The event will invite global executives, investors, and tech professionals to stay longer and explore Dubai’s food, art, sports, and wellness attractions while engaging in tech discussions.

GITEX TechCation 2026 will begin with a high-level summit that will bring together global leaders to discuss key trends, opportunities, and policies shaping the AI economy. From December 8 to 11, the exhibition will feature the newest advancements in AI, quantum computing, biosciences, and semiconductors.

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and KAOUN International, the event organizers, are expanding GITEX’s global presence. New events will include GITEX Ai Türkiye (September 2026), GITEX Ai India (April 2027), GITEX Ai Serbia (May 2027), and GITEX LATAM in Brazil (March 2027).

Over 6,800 exhibitors took part in GITEX Global 2025, showcasing advanced technologies from countries like the UAE, South Korea, China, and Japan. Companies such as Etisalat used AI-powered robots to assist visitors and media.

GITEX TechCation 2026, with its new concept, aims to change the global tech event calendar and strengthen Dubai’s role as a top innovation hub.
